Annen Weber, LLPC received her Bachelor of Arts for Vocal Music Performance from Wayne State University, and then went on to complete a Master of Arts in Counseling from Ashland University (Detroit campus).
As a therapist Annen employs many techniques and tailors them to meet clients’ needs. Annen will work with clients to help them identify patterns in their lives that contribute to underlying issues of anxiety, low self-esteem and depression and help them brainstorm ways to tackle those patterns to reduce the depression (etc) and thrive.
Annen’s biggest hope for each and every client is not only that they come to enjoy life, but also embrace who they are as individuals. To that end, she employs common techniques such as CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Mindfulness based practices and Hypnosis.
Annen particularly enjoys working with couples, adolescents ages 11 and up, people with anxiety and clients struggling with ADHD. She is also willing to meet up with clients for Walk and Talk therapy as well as meet in public places for clients working through agoraphobic or other issues that would benefit meeting outside the office. Annen enjoys working with the LGBTQ+ community and is also Kink Aware. If you are looking for a therapist who will never judge you or make you feel ‘less than-‘ Annen may be the therapeutic fit for you.
