Dr. Rick Sulier recently moved to the Ann Arbor area from Western Michigan where he was in private practice for 35 years. He came to this area to retire and be closer to his family, but has since decided to partially retire. He will have a limited caseload and provide individual counseling for adolescents, adults, and marital counseling.
He has worked extensively with people struggling with anxiety and depression. His counseling is strongly influenced by cognitive behavioral methodology and the defining of interpersonal “style”. He believes that problems in the process of our relationships with others and ourselves need to be corrected to enhance our emotional well-being. He currently sees patients who are 14 years of age or older.
