Erin believes the best therapy is patient-centered with a focus on listening to the unique needs of each client. As a member of the Ann Arbor Psychiatry family, she closely coordinates care with our psychiatric providers. She applies an individual approach to caring for the mental health needs of her clients.
By employing a holistic and evidenced-based selection of therapy modalities, we can find the style of therapy that meets your unique needs best. As an LMSW and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor with a specialty in school social work, she can address a broad spectrum of reasons for seeking therapy in both teenagers and adults. She has extensive experience helping clients facing end of life issues, substance abuse issues, relationship conflicts, difficulties with life transitions such as job loss and retirement, and school-related issues including bullying.
In her work in both private practice and corrections, she has helped clients find hope when they have felt hopeless, and has helped them learn coping skills to handle the challenges life often presents, and she has experience treating clients with significant physical and mental disorders, and a history of serious mental, sexual or physical trauma, as well as those whose primary concerns are ongoing anxiety and depression. She feels the therapeutic relationship should be a partnership and collaborative relationship that is outcome focused and addresses those issues and concerns most important to her patients.
Does Erin Egan accept your insurance?
Erin Egan is “in network” and thus a “preferred provider” with Blue Care Network, Priority Health, and Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO including Anthem BCBS PPO, most out-of-state BCBS PPO, and Blue Care Network. She does NOT accept Blue Cross Complete, General Motors BCBS (where subscriber ID starts with GM), or “EPO” BCBS PPO insurance.
Please note that Beacon health often looks like BCBS PPO, and that is an insurance that Erin Egan does not accept. She also does not accept BCBS Medicare plans. It’s best not to assume your Blue Cross Blue Shield will be covered; email a picture of your insurance card front/back to firstname.lastname@example.org and let us verify your insurance before you make an appointment to ensure you are covered.
