Sarah Kruger is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with many years of experience in providing individual, couples, and family psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, and children. Sarah graduated with a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a concentration on Interpersonal Practice & Mental Health from the University of Michigan in 2009. Sarah also has a Bachelors of Science in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University in 2007. 

Sarah’s clinical training includes crisis intervention and psychotherapy at Michigan Medicine Child & Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry. Sarah has many years of experience as an Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapist where she provided therapy services to diverse populations with a variety of mental health needs and life challenges. Sarah also has undergraduate experience in crisis intervention and counseling with homeless and impoverished families.

Sarah utilizes a Client-Centered approach that integrates several evidence-based therapies including; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Theory, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy.  Sarah’s priority is to assist clients in achieving their defined goals. Sarah has experience in treating the following challenges; adjustment issues, anger management, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, behavioral problems, bipolar disorders, crisis intervention, depression, divorce & co-parenting problems, domestic violence, grief & loss, parenting challenges, relational problems, substance abuse recovery & relapse prevention, and stress management.
