Comprehensive New Patient Appointments
This evaluation type is appropriate for patients dealing with grief and loss, depression and anxiety, and dealing with chronic or terminal illness. As of 10/1/25, Kristen Daniels is no longer accepting new patients.
About Kristen Daniels, LMSW
I am trained in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), which can quickly reprocess trauma and anxiety responses and can install positive beliefs in place of negative ones. I am also a strength based clinical social worker dedicated to serving adults. Previously, I have worked in hospice and with seniors in intensive outpatient treatment. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, leading me to be a great advocate and listener. I believe that many times what people bring to therapy is a result of previous experiences. We often react a certain way because we think a certain way. It is my belief that everyone has the strength inside themselves to adapt, change, and overcome. My areas of specialty include grief and loss, dealing with a chronic or terminal illness, life transitions related to aging, depression and anxiety.
